I would go to the MAC counter and let them do samples on you so you can see them on and know the colors are what you’re looking for.

The Viva Glam lipsticks are among my favourites, plus Ruby Woo/Russian Red for the matte lipsticks. Eye brushes 213, 217, and 231 are the ones I use most often. Happy shopping!

eyeshadows: saddle (perfect as a matte crease color)

-Naked pigment (so pretty)

-naked lunch

i love a neutral eye with a bold lip

candy yum yum, ruby woo, morange, viva glam 5, up the amp, pink plaid (my everyday face!), snob

Second the Russian Red for lipstick. Most reds look too orangey on me but that one is perfect.

For shadows I like; Club – is hideous in the container but pairs great with a lot of shadows and is nice for a smokey eye that isn’t blacks and grays

Honey Lust – a really great gold that can bring some nice shimmer or be really bold depending on how much you put on

Carbon- really good for shadow lining and dark smokey eyes

Also I would really recommend the Blacktrack Fluidline gel liner (you apply it with a brush) goes on smooth and has great pigment, great for cat eyes and easier than pencils imo

I’ve only worn their lipsticks before. I tend to stick to the basics when it comes to color. A nude, a pink and a red. I also have a “my lips but better” shade.

It would depend on your skin tone, but just going by your eyes and hair color I think the colors I wear would work just fine because I selected colors that are universally flattering, according to beauty blogs.

Hue (formula is kind of slick but color’s good for a bare looking lip)

Angel or Cremecup (both are buttery soft, perfect baby pink!)

Ruby Woo (THE perfect red. I’ve seriously went through so many brands trying to find the perfect red. It’s not blue based or yellow based, it’s a flawless medium red that looks good on both cool toned and warm toned skin! formula is very dry but not as bad as people complain about. a touch of lip balm makes it more soft on the lips. this is my ONLY RED now that I keep buying)

Cosmo (my lips but better shade, can appear very VERY dark in the tube, but works magic for virtually anyone. it’s not as praised as the other colors but it’s a favorite)

Sorry, can’t help with eyeshadow because I’m an Urban Decay girl for that stuff.
