Don’t worry about it!

Since you are filling in the space, your single guests will understand!

My RSVP cards read _____ seat(s) are reserved in your honor…. which, in essence is the same thing!

I think its fine. I don’t think anyone is going to critique you over it, they will just assume thats how all of the invites were made. Most people can’t afford custom invitations so I don’t think people expect things like that.

Are they invited alone because you know for a fact that they won’t bring a guest, or because you didn’t want to give them an “and guest”?  If it is just simply that they are single/living alone/whatever I think the way it is will be just fine!  If you specifically decided not to offer the “and guest” option, but you think they will try to bring someone I would reorder RSVPs for them that say 1.

Ok don’t freak out, but I am wondering why you are asking the same question twice.

Isn’t asking the number of seats and the number of guests attending the same thing?

That’s what I noticed, not the seat(s) thing.

@krrmee5:  I totally understand the angst about it and desire for them to be absolutely perfect.  I almost printed out different ones for my single guests πŸ˜‰ so, I completely understand.  BUT – people know you are mass producing these things and that isn’t a big mistake (I wouldn’t even call it a mistake, honestly!).

@krrmee5:  Oh duh, that’s the part you’re filling in.  Dee Dee Dee!

I’m a giant perfectionist asshole and probably would get the 12.  But you definitely don’t have to.

@krrmee5:  How much would it be to order 12 more of the same design but with only it saying “1 seat has been reserved in your honour”? Not sure where you ordred them from, but I know with mine I can order a minimum order of 15 and its really not that bad price wise… if you care that much, I mean. πŸ™‚

@krrmee5:  Darling Husband and I are totally nitpicky so 1) we would care and 2) we would notice. That said, I can say that 95+% of those affected probably won’t notice so I would just leave it.
