Does anyone else feel this way, or if you have already chosen your dress, did you feel this way? I have been trying to choose between two dresses for a couple weeks now. Of course, they are at two different shops, so I can’t even compare them side by side. I have to try one on, and try to look at a picture of the other to compare. They are very similar, both ballgowns & very blingy. What makes me so frustrated is that they are each missing something that the other one has!!! One of them has a sparkly skirt, which I love, and the other one doesn’t. However, the one that doesn’t have the sparkly skirt has a better top. I just want to combine them. I have had to hold it together the last couple times I tried one of them on, because I just feel like crying because I’m so frustrated. It seems silly… but I just feel like I’m going to have to compromise one way or the other. 🙁 My wedding is about 10 months away, so I have to pick…. like now.

It sounds like neither of them are perfect for you. Could you keep looking? Can the dress shop add more crystals to the bodice or skirt?

@AlwaysSunny: I’m going to try a couple more places, but I really need to decide soon. Both of my dresses are really great, and I’d be happy in either one of them. I just don’t know which to go with. I need to decide which is more important to me–the bottom of dress #1 or the top of dress #2. :/ They are both so great, I doubt any others will compare. I wish I could combine them to make my dream dress.

It will be okay!! I was torn between two dresses as well and it can definitely be stressful…afterall it is a big decision! Have you gone to all of the dress shops in your area?
Also when I was torn between my two dresses – I made a post with a poll and put up both pictures and had the bees help 🙂 It is nice to have an outside opinion on the two dresses and the bees even help with alteration ideas. That may help you see a dress in a different way.
Either way your dress will be beautiful and don’t feel pressured into one…be confident about your dress, dress regret is not worth it when it comes in!

Do you have pictures of yourself in each dress that you could post? Maybe getting some unbiased opinions would help give you a fresh perspective, and other brides might have insight into ways that one could be customized that the other couldn’t be, etc…
