Hi!  I ordered the Geneva dress.  I tried it on in the store and fell in love with it.  It wasn’t what I was expecting at all- I thought I would go with the Reese by Maggie, but the Geneva was the one I ended up buying.  I won’t get it until March, unfortunately, and I don’t have a picture of it.  But I will say it is very beautiful and I am so happy I bought it!

I ordered Geneva over the summer!  I almost walked out of the store without trying it on.  The picture isn’t great and the dress still needs to be fitted.  Anyone else order the Geneva?

I bought the Geneva dress too!!!  I tried on dozens of dresses and thought I wasn’t going to find “the one” until I tried on this dress and fell in love!!  I should be getting mine within the next couple months, as soon as I do I’ll post pics! 🙂

Hey Geneva Girls, I was curious as to what your plans were about a veil?  From what I understand there isn’t a matching veil.  I was initially thinking of a birdcage veil but I’m not sure…  Thoughts?

I am seriously considering this dress in Ivory!  Its so fabulous!  If anyone has seen the mocha-is it only on the sash or is there color in the dress applique as well? Is anyone willing to reveal what they paid for the dress?

@jenniferlynn84:

I tried it on with a fingertip veil with sparkely beading on the edge and it looked very pretty.

Has anyone seen the dress or have pictures of it in ivory or white? I can’t find any and no stores have it!

Yes, I tried it on in ivory at Eva’s Bridal south of Chicago.  I have to say I loved it in ivory. I was afraid the details wouldn’t stand out but it looked great. I haven’t seen the mocha but from the pics I think the only difference is in the ribbon around the waist, unless there is mocha in the applique that i can’t see. I think the ivory is a great choice because you aren’t locked in to any colors.  No pics though, sorry!

I just tried on Geneva yesterday and I LOVE IT! We’re having an outdoor May ceremony (hopefully with lots of blooming flowers) so the floral appliques fit in with the springtime theme perfectly!  I tried Geneva on in ivory/mocha and I love the way the colors give the dress the elegant, antique look…very timeless!  Plus, my pale skin is more complimented by the ivory than white…even though I always dreamed of being a “white dress” bride.  I have pics, but I’m having difficulty uploading them…I’ll keep trying!

By The Way, to answer questions about the appliques having mocha, there may be a subtle hint of ivory mixed with mocha, but it’s mostly ivory.  The floral appliques really have that 3D look to it and it’s just stunning!
