ok girls, I have started to seriously think about what i want my cake to look like.  Do you think it would look cool if i took the bottom part of the dress lace pattern and had them pipe it around the bottom of the cake tiers?  I think I would have blue fondent and have them pipe it in white.

Hey ladies!!! We just ordered the Maggie Geneva today too!!!! I love it 🙂 esp the appliques and the lace on the bottom!!! I think I’m getting a fingertip veil with scallop lace on the edges for the ceremony then have a beautiful feather or flower hair piece for the reception?! My dress ran $1279 + tax & another $120 (bc they had to cut off 5 (yes…FIVE!!!! “/) inches of material bc I’m so short!!!) Grand total of roughly $1500. Blah. I had originally bought Allure Bridals 8800 but even though it was beautiful… it wasn’t what I wanted it to be. So thankfully he bridal shop was understanding!!! I had a melt down bc I hate being a curvy girl sometimes – there were a few dresses I LOVED that I couldn’t fit over my rear. Haha. But this one is perfect on my figure!! (Even though its a 16 – ugh) Oh well, what can ya do?!?!

Hello fellow Geneva brides!

I’m doing a very simple veil for the wedding and a floral peice for the reception.

I got my headband from Marily at theredmagnolia, and she let me choose which vintage brooches she used as the base of each flower. She was so great to work with and made me a stunning one-of-a-kind creation for much less than the average generic type of thing you would find at David’s Bridal.

My veil is from Brenda’sBridalVeils and looks like this:

@csherred:

I bought this dress and my bridesmaids are in pink!  I wanted hot pink too but couldn’t find a dress they loved and I loved so we ended up going with the Arabelle from J. Crew in bright coral.

kmurphy13:  Hi! I know you posted this quite a while ago but did you ever sell your dress?
