I’m having the same problem! I’m also pretty pale and have tried on white and alabaster. When I looked at pictures of myself in the alabaster it looked really golden to me..but I’ve seen other pictures of brides in it where it just looks off white similar to ivory.

I’ve actually heard that alabaster has more of a yellow tone, which I’m not really sure will work with my cooler skin tone. I think I’ll end up ordering the diamond white, but I’ll try to compare the other colors to my skin tone before I choose. Sorry I wasn’t much help! Good luck!

My daughter had Ambrosia in alabaster. It was gorgeous. The bridal shop lighting made it look like it had yellow undertones. My sister (who was there when my daughter picked out her dress) even mentioned it. However, in natural light and in the church- it was definitely ivory.

My dress is in Alabaster.  I don’t have a picture of the actual dress right now, but it’s definitely not yellow-ish.  It’s a rich ivory color and looks gorgeous in person.

I also tried on the kendra in alabaster and thought it was a beautiful color!

I tried on several Maggie Sottero dresses in Alabaster and “white” is the last word I would use to describe it. More ivory/antique/pearly is my technical description, LOL!

Here is a photo of me in my Sottero Midgley dress and another dress, both in Alabaster.

I am Irish White. Blinding white and freckled. I just went with the ivory. I know white just washes me out. Plus, illogically, I don’t fear ivory like I do white. hahaha

I am also fairly light skinned and freckled and loved the Alabaster on me as it is very forgiving of tone.  I ordered the Priscilla and have my final fitting tomorrow.

I bought Kendra in Alabaster as I’m blonde and fair and though it complimented my fairness well.  I thought it was plenty white, just remember to not have any stark white around it.  I went with ivory tuxedo shirt for my dad and hubby so when I was next to them, the “whiteness” all blended”

Here is a pic

I loved the Alabaster when I found my Sottero & Midgley dress. But they didnt offer it in my gown! BOO!

The color looks wonderful on all these brides pictured above.
