jcjcjoanne:  Did you end up ordering it in ivory over ivory? I just ordered it in ivory over pearl rose and am thinking of switching the order to ivory over ivory. I just can’t make a decision! 😕

Hi everyone! I just ordered the ascher dress, but put the color on hold. I have an olive, tan complexion. Our wedding will be in Hawaii and tan easily. Which color should I choose…ivory over ivory….or ivory over pearl rose? Thank you!!!

Hello all, I am of Chinese heritage so tend to tan very quickly. I’ve just returned from holiday in Thailand and purposely went to try the dress on again with a tan and it does look so much better on compared with no tan. So my friend, bridal consultant and I all decided it was the pearl rose option, order placed last week! My consultant explained that she usually chooses to carry the best colour option sample dresses recommended by the brands. She said that she has sold this dress in all the colours but the White and Ivory options you loose the lace detail as it blends into the dress. Depends what you want really. When I tried other Maggie Sottero dresses in Ivory, they were nice but for me the contrast in the Ivory over pearl rose made the dress come to life. We are getting married in the summer. Hope this helps.
