@klackajis:  Hello!  Congratulations on finding your dress!  Bernadette is beautiful…but I am bias, seeing as it was my dress.  My seamstress was very easily able to take out the boning that went down the middle of the chest.  This resolved the “pointy” issue.

I didn’t have my neckline altered, but on this board http://boards.weddingbee.com/topic/any-real-pictures-of-bernadette-by-maggie-sottero bettylee mentions she would also like to open it up a little.  I don’t know whether or not she ended up doing this or if she ever got a response to her question, but you might be able to message her and ask if you aren’t able to get an answer on this board 🙂

Can’t wait to see pictures!

@klackajis I’m having the boning taken out of the bust area on my Bernadette. I’m going to see it this weekend with the alterations so I can post a pic.

If you haven’t already, you should check out this conversation on the dress.

There are tons of photos, and many of the girls talk about the alterations they have made.

@klackajis:  Hi Krissy, I have just added an image of the alterations to deepen and open up the neckline of the Bernadette to the other discussion the ladies are talking about. I hope this helps. I really love the way it looks now and I no longer feel like a floating head which is how I felt because I’m petite and there was a lot of fabric near my face.
