Hi Ladies!!!! So I have had the worst luck with dresses, I swear! I am finally down to two gowns, either the M.S. Bernadette or Allure C155 style. I was not allowed to take pictures in the shop of me in the gowns, so I am looking for opinions and possibly pix if anyone else has themselves in either style? I am a street size 8 at the moment, 5’4″ . . I definitely have some curves and a smaller waist. The dresses are very similar, except the Bernadette is a mermaid style and C155 is a-line. Not sure if my curves are . . “tight” (haha) enough to rock the Bernadette and not look foolish!
help!!! thank youuuu bee’s!

It’s hard to say without seeing a pic of YOU in the dress. I tried on Bernadette and just felt frumpy in it, but it’s a beautiful dress I’ve loved on other brides. So without anything to go on, I’ll vote for the Allure based off my own experience with Bernadette and because the a-line tends to be more universally flattering (and I prefer Allure to Maggie dresses overall).

A-lines are in general more flattering, so if you have even any hesitation about the Maggie Sottero, perhaps go for the Allure. Both are gorgeous gowns and I’m sure you’ll look amazing!

I like the Allure better, but I can’t put my finger on why.

I prefer the Maggie for the detailing, but they are both nice.

I like the neckline of the maggie and the detailing better! so maggie…?

I like the maggie better because the front lace is more open, thus looking more like straps than a cover.

Thanks everyone . . yeah, if I were to get the Allure, then I would inquire about adding some pearl beading and maybe some sequence 🙂 also, I would love to open the front a bit more so that it is more like the maggie, and also open the back a little more . . starting to lean towards the allure as i think it might be a little more flattering on me! If anyone has pix of them in either one of these styles, please post! Thanks bee’s!!!
