@jeye7161: Thank you! I haven’t got to go back & try on the Brianna but if/when I do I definately want to try the petticoat/bustle the side thing on it, because I was looking for an extremely unique dress, but just couldn’t find one so when I lifted that up, I fell in love with that look! My FH’s mouth is going to drop no matter what I’m in, I’m not a ball gown type girl, but what about getting a poofier petty coat that rises higher up than a mermaid, OR just sewing more crinaline to make it poofier close to the hips to give it more of a ballgown look…. When I first tried on the Brianna, it was too flat for me but I loved the way the waist up was, then the first time I tried on Adorae I didn’t like it, but then I left, went back & tried it on with the petticoat, that made a world of change for me, maybe you should try that too! I’m sure your FH will be speachless either way!

@duffy101510: Thank you soo much for the pictures! I love the Brianna on you! I can see the difference in the shape both the dresses give on you. I’m having flashbacks of myself in that gown and I was in tears! I originally wanted Adorae and the bridal shop I went to didnt have it and suggested I tried on Brianna. I bought it on the spot. Then after a couple months and looking at all those wedding magazines, I wasnt happy, drove two hours to try on Adorae, loved it, but didnt tear like with Brianna. I dont know if I didnt tear up because I felt guilty for buying another dress but I did love on it on me. I really want to try them both on and take pics with pettitcoats/slips underneath them. I keep thinking back on my FH envisioning me in a more poofy gown so I think I might stay with Brianna. cant maggie take the embellisments of Adorae and place them on Brianna’s cut? lol. Then it would be my perfect dress.

@Miss Converse: Let me know if you do it with the brianna and post pics please!! Yes your FH’s jaw will drop the moment he sees you. Now that I’m thinking of it, I think doing a side bustle on Brianna wont stand out as much as Adorae because the bottom is more straight. All the rouching with Adorae makes the bustle and dress more unique. But I could be wrong. LOL ugh i hate being so undecisive about this. But I’m kind of glad that I’m not the only one going through the same thing. My Maid/Matron of Honor thinks I’m crazy for wanting to buy another gown so I didnt tell her or anyone else about my Adorae purchase. It’s feels soo good to have input from other brides ๐

GIRLS – what accessories, esp. veils (if any) are you planning on wearing with your maggie dress? i can’t decide! i love everything – nothing seems like too much…but i also don’t want it to be all about the accessories and not me!

Don’t doubt yourself! Usually, a bride’s first instinct is her best bet. I’ve worked in bridal fashion and have sold gowns now for some time- don’t psych yourself out too much about it! trust your heart. If need be, put them both on again and see which one you can picture yourself getting married in more.. they are both very pretty and either I’m sure will be stunning. Hope this helps!
P.S. its kinda like his proposal- go with your gut instinct! ๐

@duffy101510: i have to agree that the taffetta fabric just doesn’t let air in- too suffocating! the silky feel of the other is soo nice

@duffy101510: I LOVE the necklace you found! It would definitely match your dress. I like the veil. It’s simple and very cute, I’ve never seen anything like it! Will you be havin your hair up or halfway up? I’ve looked at veils, but stopped my search until I figure out which dress I will be using. I do like this girls veil though. I like the sparkles in it.

I’m wearing a bird cage with a flower/feather hair piece & I’m so indecisive about jewelry its not even funny, but I have plenty of time!
Does anyone have a picture of the Adorae bustled in the back?

@Miss Converse: i LOVE the birdcage look…i was actually thinking of doing a birdcage/feather fascinator too, but I also love pictures of long flowy veils
yet again it was another difficult decision

I kept thinking about my vertically challenged height and the Adorae and I’m wondering if I may be TOO short fit. My dress was ordered in petite and they are taking off three inches, but I’m wondering about the mid bottom part of the dress where the embellisments are on the side. will that be raised up a little higher or will it stay in the same place and the dress in just shorter at the bottom? Silly question but I dont know how well Adorae will look on me being that I AM ONLY 5’1″ I loved it on me, but I was on a stool so i dont know if that is going to make a difference.

@jeye7161: If you Bustle the side, it would make it shorter. Also if you added more crinaline to make it poofier it would raise it a little. I’m 5’8, I have no idea of this shortness you people talk about! ๐ I’m wearing converse though, so my dress will have to be made shorter than a bride who were to wear heals!

I bought the Maggie Sottero Brianna. I absolutely love her!!! It’s fits very very well and accentuates all the right curves:)
