I’m a Maggie bride too — I bought the Patience Lynnette. I love it and wish I could see other real brides in it, but I guess it’s not that popular!

TheNewMrsSmith054 : I love the skirt and train on your dress. I partially regret not getting a dress with a longer train, since I’m obsessed with them. However, it’ll be long enough I think. We’ll see once I have my first fitting.

futuremrsferrell : I hope so! Post a picture when you have one. I wasn’t going to go with a train that long, but once I tried it on I loved it!!

I chose Emma (light gold) as well as the crystal/illusion top from Sottero/Midgley’s “Taiya” in ivory to cover my shoulders & back*. Both pieces should be in by late January.
*Couldn’t find the perfect gown, so decided to build the look with separate components. Voila!

harleybeachbride6 : Thank you so much! I absolutely fell in love with this dress when I tried it on. Complete with a total cry fest and all! LOL. I always envisioned myself in a dress with a fully beaded bodice. This once is a lot more simple. Here’s a thread that has a lot of brides in the dress, including me when I bought it.

I love the detailing though on the Emma dress. All the way down to the skirt!
ladylovebug : That’s awesome! I fell in love with the light gold but wanting to feel more bridal I went with white. Then the next day I started freaking out hoping that I made the right decision! LOL. I called about 6 different boutiques looking for the white one and finally found one about 2 hours away. Luckily I was headed there the next day so I was able to try it on. Family all agreed that the white looked better so I was content. Still a little anxious if I made the right decision but I know it will be beautiful. What color did you choose?

TheNewMrsSmith054 : I’m sure this will look different on me since I don’t have the models height LOL. I hate that I didn’t take pics of the back of the dress when I tried it on but I was too excited to think of everything. Hehe.

futuremrsferrell : I ended up going with the light gold but I’m also super pale and ivory tends to wash me out. I don’t think you can go wrong either way though. The dress is just too gorgeous! ๐
