I’m afraid I don’t know the answer to your question, but you might take a look at other related Maggie designs.  The Dallas, Parisia, and AD1011 gowns all could be cousins to the Brielle and might save you the trouble of alterations.

I’m a Maggie bride, myself.  Good luck!

I’m pretty sure you can’t get a customized dress.  I tried to get my Maggie dress in different color variations than they listed on the website and they downright refused.  I would suggest talking to a seamstress to find out how much it would cost.  If you don’t want to use the one at the bridal salon, then take a picture of the dress to another seamstress, tell them what you want done, and see what they say.

Ok I looked at your dress, It has what is called a <span class=”Apple-style-span” style=”font-style: italic”>dropped waist the belt sits on that dropped waist. It is a beautiful dress but the beauty of it is just that.  If you are talking about moving that belt up slightly, I am sure it can be done by anyone, that is not a difficult alteration but do you want it up ever so slightly?  The other option would be to move it actually down to be at the very bottom of the bodice.  I would not suggest you put it at your natural waist-was that what you had in mind?  Hope this helps.
