Hi bees! I’m new here and this is my first time commenting on a board, but I have read some of the threads about other brides and their Divina. I got some good advice this way. Just wanted to say, I’m a Divina bride now:) This was the sample dress, clipped. Just For reference. I ordered mine today, in Ivory. ๐Ÿ™‚ super excited!

Hi ladies are amy of you selling your blush divina dress please I’m looking for one here in the UK and so far no luck. I’m a uk 12 so think the maggie size I need is a 10. Also I’m tall so would need to be unaltered in length. Thank you for reading ladies xxxx

Hi ladies!

So excited, I picked up my Divina yesterday and it fits really well which is a relief, not too many alterations needed hopefully.

Just wondering if I could pick the brains of all the lovely ladies who’ve already worn it/had their wedding! I’ve only got 6cm heels because I’m not great in high heels and didn’t want to have sore feet at the end of the day so I’m not too worried about walking in it, but did anyone have any issues tripping over the front layers (even after it was hemmed?)? Do you think you need a hoop/petticoat underneath it to walk ok? I’m really hoping not but I thought I’d check ๐Ÿ™‚

Also, I got the Divina in ivory with the ivory ribbon belt, and unfortunately I think I made the wrong decision and should have gone with the crystal belt (but too late now! If only you could buy the crystal belt separately!). When I tried it on in the store it was with the black belt and the lady held up a white one and I liked it at the time, but now seeing the sash its a little bit more ivory than the dress and it just doesn’t look right, it’s just too much ivory and not enough bling. Does anyone have any pictures of wearing a different crystal belt with the ivory dress at all? Just to help me with what style I should hunt for.

Thanks so much! ๐Ÿ™‚

I get to wear my Divina in blush in just three weeks! Here I am at my second fitting. They raised the skirt so that it starts higher up on my legs and are also lifting the hem of the skirt a little (I am only 5’4″ and will be wearing flats). I also need the bust taken in a bit more. It is a little big in the hips, but the seamstress suggested I might want a little extra room so that it’s easier to sit down. She said I could decide for sure at my next fitting.

I think for accessories I will be wearing just earrings and a bracelet. For the ceremony I have a waist length two layer veil from Bliss Veils in blush pink.

I followed this thread a few years ago when planning our wedding and also went for the blush dress!

I was worried I would regret having a blush dress but nope I love it still now!

it was so hard to keep it a secret as only one bridesmaid and my mum knew I was having a pink dress. My bridesmaids wore mint.

Thought I would add a few pictures as I remember I used to search the internet for hours for other pics of brides in blush!

i had an ivory veil and ivory and crystal shoes.

i did find during the day parts of the ruffles of the dress came away through people stepping on the long train even when it was bustled. xx
