i haven’t seen the other fabrics, but uaully white is going to be really bright, while the ivory will be a little more sublte. Are you planning on taking pictures outside at all? If so you will want to go with the ivory either way because the white will wash you out.

It depends on your skintone. White flatters tan/darker skin and ivory is a little more subtle for paler skintones.

This is stunning.  Where did you try on this sample if you don’t mind me asking.

I generally say go with ivory, as many bridal whites are way too bright.  However, it really does depend on your skin tone and what you feel comfortable in.

I am really dying to see more pictures of this gown, so if anyone else tries it on, please post pics!

@Rach420:  I tried it on in ivory – colour is lovely. have some pics on my computer at home which i can try put up if i can. i wont be home for a couple of weeks but the colour is lovely. i can try email you the pics if you give me your private email address.  i would go for ivory – MS white is VERY white. like a blue white if that makes sense – very blinding 🙂

the sample was only a six 8 which is a US 4. im a US6/8 so it was tight 🙂 but i got the idea. not sure whether to order or not  – i always wanted a button up back on my wedding dress and this is corset. stunning dress though. Plus the sample came with the black belt so i tried the dress on with another bling belt which definitely doesnt do it justice.

think i am going to wait until the proper pink sample comes in to see what that belt is like and then maybe order it in ivory. if i can get over the corset back!!

Gorgeous dress!!  I have a Maggie dress – Nova – and its made with organza material as well (not really sure what opal means or what kind of fabric that is).  My dress is Ivory and it looks white/soft white to me – it was perfect!

@Deedee1983:  I’d love to see your pics too.  I’m definitely going for it in pink, but I’ve only seen it on one real bride so far.  I still have weeks to go until I can try her on 🙁  Boo.

I have recently tried this dress on and it is absolutley beautiful in the blush pink! I want to purchase it in this color but it is very non traditional so I am going to purchase it in the Ivory. When I tried on my dress she did however have a sample of it in Ivory which was soft and ever more beautiful.
