@SparkleShine:Thanks so much! My mom’s veil was attached to this lace Juliet cap which I almost left on it but thankfully got brave enough to detatch and just sew on bobbi pins instead. What a difference!I highly recommend checking out etsy.com for veils, both new or vintage.

Regarding the hemming issues, I was told by my consultant that they will just actually detatch the skirt itself from under the bodie and shorten it there then reattach it. This way I will not lose any lace or applique goodness.  I am only 5’3 and I was lucky enough to score the sample which is the exact dress I have on in the photos. I plan on wearing flats the entire wedding.

It is the alabaster color. I am beyond pale and I knew going in i wanted to avoid pure white at all cost. So many brides look amazing in it but I end up looking GREENISH, especially in photos.

Also, I really enjoy my butt in this dress. Go, go team butt!!

@SparkleShine: for me to let out the top of the dress and raise the hem and add a bustle it was estimated at like 75 dollars, they just take out length at the waste and re-gather it πŸ™‚

I checked to see how much a little bit of fabric or apliques would cost to add or just have for extra and it was a ridiculous amount of money more than a hundred or two for just a bit. I love the skirt too but with a hoop will it be awkward to try to stand close to people or walk? I’m wondering how just a full fabric skirt will look. And To original post-er…. I really did love the diamond white and was torn between the two. The only reason I did not get diamond white is because I cannot buy anything without trying it or seeing it in person…i’m weird haha

Ohh and are any of you taaking the wire out of the bodice? I am or am putting wire in that flares out at the hip rather than in

@SparkleShine: I wish I would have got the diamond white πŸ™ I’m worried the ivory will be too hard to match stuff with and look really brownish πŸ™ anyone else having these doubts?

@FutureMrsMcDermott: Right!!  Words can’t even describe how I feel about Isadora Marie!  I can’t find her anywhere near me and I am DYING to see how this dress looks on a regular person.  I love Isadora as well but the places that I have tried to try her on at only had sample size 6 πŸ™ I need to find a place with at leaset a size 10 sample.

If anyone out there has tried on Isadora Marie and has pictures please show yourself lol! Laughing
