@lockha – thank you for posting pics – you look gorgeous!!! I’m down to 3 months now, and I’m having dress regrets especially after seeing maggie’s new line and thinking I should have gone simpler, but after seeing your pics, Im SO relieved. I remembered why I loved Isadora!!

and re-visiting this thread has helped me feel not so silly! I have the same fears as a bunch of you!! Coreset too long, dress is WAY dressier than the occasion, viel issues, petticoat/hoop choice, wires in or out, etc. But truthfully, this is just the most timeless dress to me, and I LOVE it. end of story. πŸ˜€

 http://ruffledblog.com/oklahoma-rustic-barnyard-wedding/

and someone posted this link earlier…and i just wanted to say thank you! This wedding in OK is VERY akin to our woodsy/vintage/country Im going for, and Im so happy I found it! I thought I was INSANE for wanting to wear boots…with THIS dress. But, it can be done and so beautifully! I thought, someone done hijacked our wedding! lol. ..and ruffled such a NEAT wedding website! take a look! so is greenweddingshoes.com if you’re going for the diy/vintage look with faded colors, and well enriched decorations!

I still DONT have any idea if I’ll wear a veil or not, what size hoop but my dress is IN! and I have to go try it on in 1 month! AH Im SO excited I can’t stand it!

Thank you bees for posting your pics! Keep em coming! I miss mine so πŸ™

(sorry for the novel, Im a writer in training…I ramble :/ )

@SparkleShine: Just dont crawl and sit in the weeds like i did! lol At the site, there were no bugs in my skirt just expect a VERY dirty lace trim at the bottom after πŸ™‚

@mBride2011: Thanks! other than the first thunderstorm of the entire summer choosing that day to happen and the rain until 2 minutes before, make-up artist showed up after the pictures so my make up was just mascara, and due to the rain, very few stylized pictures πŸ™ It was amazing!

Not whining, just saying dont worry! even if everything possible goes wrong, it will still be the best day!

Hi all! So im all married and stuff but I thought I come by and post a few pictures of me and Isadora.

Beware, my photographer and pictures she took were complete (for lack of a better word) “cr*p”. Words cannot describe how terribly upset I still am over them, but alas, nothing to do about it now. We did though end up not paying her the rest of the deposit so that makes me fell alittle better.

Oh and one thing about Isadora…I could not dance in her..grrr but once I took off the petticoat it was alittle easier…glad especially since our party wasnt over till 4am…gawd.

Anyway here are a few pics and forgive me if they end up being too big.

 and lastly

@MissCurlyQ: I’m so jealous! Here’s hoping I can find a deal like yours, ’cause I just tried on this dress over the weekend, and I think it’s the ‘one’!

The sample was ½ my bridal size, so it’s not fitting properly, but I love(d) it! Here I am forcing a smile (resisting the urge to cry)!

@MissCurlyQ: Thanks, girlie! :] Trust me, I have been looking everywhere! Unfortunately, however, being plus size, I’m not finding a lot in my size.. especially looking for one gown in particular, lol. That being said, there is someone on WB looking to sell hers, so I’v been in touch.. now we wait, and see!

@brighteyedgirl: i’ve got my fingers crossed for you!! Did you notice that the dress ran big?? I’m usually like a 16 in wedding dresses but the 12 fits like a glove–so weird! i guess the corset back helps too!! What kind of veil are you thinking? Oh and i’ll keep my eyes open on the pre-owned dress sites for you!! πŸ˜‰

@MissCurlyQ: Yes, I did notice that to some extent–that’s actually a size 10 I’m squeezed into, above. :S Mind you, I don’t have any pics of me in it from behind, so I don’t quite know how it was fitted/showing, lol.
I’m really digging the look of a cathedral-length veil, but I’m afraid it would take away from the back of the dress/train.. do you have one in mind? I was actually going to make a post closer to our wedding date (and, when I actually had the dress) about accessories, etc. Have you figured those out, yet?
Thanks, again! :]

Ok so, I am back again to that you for the compliments and link you over to my wedding video that I just got back. It has a lot of shots of my dress moving which I think will be helpful to some of us still on the fence. My color was alabaster.

@brighteyedgirl

I did a cathedral length veil that was extremely sheer and airy and I thought it made the back of the dress look even better!!! I look back and think about how glad I am that I did that!!
