If you’re using a hoop, I strongly suggest that you get one with a dropped waist.  This is the kind I bought. I got my dress in today, and I tried it on with the new hoop, and it works out FANTASTICALLY.  I got mine through mygowns dot com.  It is the 4-bone gripper waist hoop skirt.

I’m going with simple jewelry as well.  Just some solitaire earings and necklace.  My tiara has a lot of sparkle and detail, and so that will match the waist on Jenna.  The tiara is Bel Aire 944. My veil is also Bel Aire, and it’s edged with rhinestones.  Oh, how I love rhinestones.

I just wore my Jenna dress at our destination wedding two weeks ago, and she was amazing…I got sooo many compliments on my dress! Since I’ve seen a couple posts asking about what accessories people have worn or asking about chopping the train, I thought I would post a few pictures in case they can help someone. I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I do! 🙂

PS – I chopped the train to all one lenght, and had the 3 back layers brought up to equal lengths on the back of the dress. It looked great that way!

@andilynn09: I wish I saw your pictures a month ago! I was contemplating chopping the train, but decided to bustle. It looks great they way you had it!

I just bought the Jenna dress to.  I love it! I’m a curvy person and quite short so I wanted something that flattered me and the lady at Bridal Elegance (Exeter, London, Ontario) had me try it on last.  It was beautiful.  I love the way it’s tight at the top until halfway down the hips, it just hits all the right spots and hides the rest. I loved it and it was affordable.  I won’t be wearing mine with the hoop underneath.  I highly recommend this dress.

I have an olive complexion and I really thought the Ivory was very nice on me (I am sure some may disagree). Here is me trying on the sample dress. I can not wait for my actual size to come in!!!! It is great to see other people in my dress. It reminds me of why I bought it.

I’m a Jenna bride as well…so excited to see so many other brides have chosen this dress as well.  Definitely was not the style that I had in mind that I wanted, but once I put it on, I didn’t want to take it off!!  Congrats girls!!
