@alibaybe: i have Jenna too, yay! awesome choice  πŸ˜‰

however, i have the same dillemma. i just ordered by dress a few days ago, so i am not sure yet if i will do the hoop. i will definitely come back to this post when i need to decide. i want to try it with and without and see what i like better.

Although, when i first bought it, i was definitely thinking NO hoop. it is perfect the way it is and any more would be too much. in fact, i never liked the model pic on the website too much because it was so big with her hoop.  then the model started to grow on me and i just decided i will see what it looks like when my dress comes in.

I just ordered Jenna today! I don’t think I’ll be adding a hoop, in fact, I may want to have one layer of crinoline removed. That’s just my preference.

I didn’t buy Jenna, but I did wear Fiorella for my wedding and I wore a small hoop. It actually didnt’ change the shape of the dress, rather, it lifted the crinoline off my legs. . . . instant air conditioning! Loved the hoop for that reason alone.

Sassy5412 it looks like we are having our weddings within 10 days of each other and I was thinking of ordering the Jenna dress too, how long did they say it would take your dress to come in??? I wasn’t thinking of ordering mine until December…Also…our wedding is actually a vowel renewal and our “original” wedding was in Montego Bay Jamaica!!! It’s beautiful there!!

i was thinking about this some more too and my orginal feelings about the model pic on the website returned in that i feel it is just too big. i actually like the dress more on me! which does typically happen LOL.  and i really like that air conditioning idea too!  i will definitely try that out when my dress comes in too.  i am getting married on a beach so i could use the breeze!!!

@Birdie Love:  We are wedding date twins and dress twins!  How ironic!

We are getting married in Montego Bay, and I am starting to think that a small hoop, just to keep it off my legs may be the way to go?!

I am a Jenna bride too and I am wearing a hoop with my dress!  It is great for keeping the fabric off your legs so it is easier to walk and you get more air flow between your legs too (which I am a big fan of obviously, as it will be the end of July when I wear it!).  Here is the thread I posted of me in the sample dress.  I am wearing the hoop in these photos – scroll down and there are a few more pics.  I just got the call today that my dress is in!  WOO!  I can post more pics when I try my actual dress on in the next week or two here.

HOOP! For sure! Well, for me at least… The first time I tried on the Jenna, I fell in love… but something was off.  A few weeks later I went back in… the put a slip hoop underneath and BAM, that made the difference!  I’m not getting a slip hoop but rather a full mermaid hoop when I get the dress though… but I think the hoop really accentuates the layers and adds more to the shape!  Good luck deciding!
