Has anybody worn or at least tried on the Maggie Sottero Josie dress? I love the draping on it in the model picture. If you’ve worn it, do you have pictures of you in it? If so I’d love to see them! Thanks ๐

@mrsmack: yes…I have. Please see photos. I am not sure if I am going to order, because of my curves. I’m 5’5″ with a booty and hips. The first picture is a 10 (but it was strecthed out) and the second is an 8. Hope this helps!

Yes, this is my dress! I am actually relieved to hear that others are at least considering it. I was starting to have doubts after I payed for half of it. Just normal dress jitters I guess. It is a simple gown, but fit me like a glove…. which I couldn’t say for any of the other dresses I tried on! Also, you can’t beat the price. I originally wanted something with more volume and texture that really made a statement (my dream gown was Allure Couture C157), but I just couldn’t carry a fuller gown I guess, not to mention that fancier dresses were way out of budget for me.
Here’s a picture of me in my gown. Please, dismiss my unbelievably pastey white skin and scrawny chicken arms!! Nothing 6 months of working out and 6 weeks of tanning can’t fix…

I don’t know why I said ‘chicken arms,’ since chickens don’t have arms. Probably because I’m so used to referring to my legs as chicken legs! Anyway, I’m scrawny… nuff said.

By The Way, I think the dress looks fantastic on you! It’s very curve-flattering. I’m small, but VERY busty! I was still breastfeeding in this picture, and was wearing a Dirty Delete, so I had to order a size 6, whereas my pants size is 0-2. Now I’m just hoping it still fits when I get it since I’m not breastfeeding anymore and my boobies have shrunk!

Hi Ladies,
both of you look great in this Dress. I cant tell you how excited i was when i saw this posting. 2 weeks ago i went dress shopping with my mom and sister and tried on this dress. And I fell in love with it. I had another dress in mind but the moment i put this dress on it knew it was my dress. The best part is i was the one that pulled it off the rack . I am a little bummed i did not take any photos of me in the dress. ๐ but its ok .

I too am absolutely in love with this dress. I will be trying it on in the next few weeks. I am considering having it in silver haze since I will be getting married in Vegas.

I wore the Maggie Sottero Josie in Ivory for my wedding in May 2011. It was absolutely beautiful in pictures. And it is super comfortable and affordable too! Highly recommend it. The style is very flattering on many body shapes.

My husband and I will be renewing our vows for our 25th wedding anniversary in April 2012 with a formal church ceremony and a reception afterwards. I am thinking about wearing the Josie gown in silver haze because it is absolutely stunning, yet simple at the same time. All of these pictures make the dress look beautiful.
