Okay, im needing a little help with the Jovi sizing… I was hoping someone that has worn a Jovi in a 10 or 12 might be able to tell me how the dress’ hip and waist area fits. I usually wear a street size 8, 34d bust, around 30 waist and around 40 hips. I was thinking that since the Jovi has the corset style back, there would be a little more flexibility in what size I end up getting.

I got exactly my street size and I was fine. Usually Maggie dresses are true to their sizing chart with maybe a few inches give or take because of the corset. You might be between 10 and 12 based on those measurements. And you should figure our what your bust size is (inches vs bra size). Have you tried on the sample size? That would help figure out what you like better.

I haven’t been able to try the dress on. I plan to go to a shop today to try on some Maggie dresses but they do not have the Jovi. Do you think all the dresses would fit similarly in size?

@lovelea: Yes, I think so. You could find a store that has a lot of Maggie dresses and ask them to help you find dresses that are similar to the Jovi dress and see how they fit. Are you not able to find a store in your area that has that dress? I remember fitting everything in the same size in Maggie (my dress was Karena Royale).

@DanielleZara: i am doubtful she can find Jovi to try on because i looked for that dress EVERYWHERE! well everywhere in my city, i didn’t travel for it. most stores told me it was from an older collection and they don’t carry it anymore since they sold the sample.
@lovelea: i did not want to get a dress i hadn’t tried on, but Jovi was so amazing, i might have considered it if i couldn’t find anything else! i would recommend asking to try on Jenna. i think they would fit the same way. My dress is Jenna and so as someone who wanted Jovi, but got Jenna, you might like Jenna as much as I do!
