Personally I’m not a fan of cap sleeves, but if you have your reasons for doing so, go right ahead!

And I LOVE the dress! I’m a big fan of lace 🙂

That dress is gorgeous! Different sleeves flatter different shapes though. I don’t feel like those cap sleeves are doing much for her in the picture, they’re making her shoulders look wider by tapering at the bottom.

I almost chose that dress!  Seriously, it’s SO gorgeous!!  Obviously, I love it as is, but I do like the cap sleeve idea.  Just make sure they’re dainty.  NOT a fan of a bolero though.  It would take away from the dress.

What about removable cap sleeves?  I think that’s a thing…

I voted bolero, but I’m just partial to them!

Personally I’d go with a Bolero.  I think they can look classy and if you get hot, or if the sleeves start to bother you, it can easily be removed.

Are you wanting to cover up for religious reasons, or because you are uncomfortable with your arms?

If you don’t have broad shoulders, I vote cap sleeves. They would never work on me, b/c I have broad shoulders, but I think they’re cute on people with average to narrow shoulders.

@DDG84:  In that case I say Bolero. I’m not a fan of cap sleeves really. They can sometimes look good on a dress but when they are added to the dress they seem off to me. Plus will the snap, button, or hook holding it kn bother you the rest of the night?

Bolero might work better. The dress is quite beautiful on its own and already lots of lace details so maybe a light sheer, simple bolero would work. I think cap sleeve might be a bit too heavy for someone with broad shoulder and busty top. 🙂
