Trying to find anyone who has tried on the Kirstie – so far havent seen any other posts. Would love to see it on someone else as well, so post pictures if you have them please!!
Trying to sort out if this is really the dress, would love to know what you other bees think…Also worried about how to bussel the back with the way it swirls around so let me know if you have something similar and how you sorted it.
and the model, I dont think the dress looks at all the same. The front I think will be better once the dress is hemmed to the right length like the models.

I really like the dress! How many others and shapes have you tried on? They’d be able to show you how it could be bustled in the shop.

I love it on you! I wouldn’t worry too much about the bustle. The seamstress should know what to do.

This dress is beautiful on you! It looks like the model has some extra poof added to the dress – would you be considering crinoline under the dress?
I agree – don’t worry too much about the bustle, a good seamstress will take care of it for you!

No extra crinoline planned, I like the slimmer look but think it doesnt flow as well beacuse it is too long – I didnt have shoes on and they also didn’t have a pedestal – they said people kept falling off it!! I feel like my downsized photo as well didnt turn out well and you cant see the detail!

I really love the dress, I think it looks great on you! With the right alterations I think it will be perfect!

Beautiful. I’m normally anti-A lines. I think most are bland, but this one is just so lovely.

This dress looks so good on you!! It’s on my list to try on as well. I hope it looks as great on me, as it does you!

I think the dress is beautiful on you. The model…looks like she’s been waaay over-Photoshopped.

@jennifer_nz: Hi! I am down to this and one other which is also a Maggie. The christina… totally different vibe but I cant decide and HAVE to decide by tonight (4 hrs) to meet my deadline… HELP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! What did you think of kirstie? The one I tried was several sizes too small so its hard to get a good read….

@vlvesq:So which one did you decide on? I was worried that the Kirstie was sort of heavy and I am getting married in summer so it could be fairly warm here…was even thinking of cutting off most of the train to get rid of some weight. I did love that the fabric had a sheen but wasnt shiny like most satin – I find in photos with flash the satin can look so shiny and it comes across as cheap in photos (but that is just my opinion). I think it is also hard for people to appreciate the flowers and crystals unless you see it in person… It is hard to see your photo though with low res and small size – would you mind sending it to me [email protected] if that is not too weird…just want to see it on someone else it is driving me crazy this decision!!

I love it on you! LOVE it! I usually go for tulle, ballgown styles, but this fits you amazingly. Did you get it?

beautiful! i haven’t seen this maggie anywhere on the boards but i LOVE it. reminds me of my dress (dijon by blue by enzoani).

The Kirstie is my dress too.
Its everything I thought I didn’t want, but when I put it on…………!
I am thinking of getting some of the train off too as am getting married abroad.
I dont have any pictures of me in it though, I wish I did. It’s nice to see you pic, it looks lovely on you, the models skirt is far too poofy and panicked me a bit as I didn’t remember it being that big!
I can’t wait!
