Kaites4:  I was going to post but when I googled the name of your dress I got a couple different ones… Could you post a pic? I used to work in a dress shop so I may be able to help 🙂

I am going for my second alteration appt today. I bought a crinoline at David’s Bridal. Make sure you go and try it on first. They tend to run small. Anyway, I bought it because I wanted to add more flare at the bottom. I am also getting it taken in a little bit so its more a fit and flare. To be honest I didn’t notice a big difference with the flare aspect, but the alterations lady says its a lot easier to move in your dress if you are wearing a crinoline underneath. Thanks

Kaites4:  Did you have this alteration done in the end? Would love to see photos of the final result!

I got the “fit and flare” slip from david’s bridal – it was relatively inexpensive and they let you try them on in the store before purchasing which was helpful because I found that it ran a little small.  I definitely recommend some sort of crinoline or slip because it really helps keep the dress off your legs and overall helps to keep the shape of the dress when you are moving – here are a few pics:
