    I am not sure if I voted right because the pictures aren’t labeled. Would you mind labeling them so I can make sure I’m commenting on the right thing? πŸ™‚

    By The Way both dresses are beautiful!

    I voted for the 2nd one. I tried on the Miri and I liked the fit, but i did not like the material. From the pic it looks like the material on the 2nd one is better.

    You look beautiful in both dresses but I agree Alandra is the better choice! I purchases the Miri dress in July thinking it was the one but I’ve been second guessing my choice ever since πŸ™ I just stumbled across this post and I like the Alandra a lot better then mine because of the bottom. I tried on a couple other dresses with a similar skirt as the Alandra but the bodice wasn’t fitted. I really like the angle of the Miri and the shape of the dress but now I know you can get the Alandra with the romantic bottom and I’m devastated. I was hoping Miri was the dress for me and thought maybe i was unlike other brides who “got the feeling” but now I’m pretty positive I’m stuck with the wrong dress πŸ™ Any advice? I want to try on the Alandra now but I feel selfish and don’t know how I could break the news to my mom who purchased my dress for me.

    I loved the MIRI and was almost ready to pull the trigger last spring, until I looked my pictures of it with the flash, the ruffles looked really shiny, cheap and blue when photographed. I was having an evening wedding and the fact my dress would like like that in pics turned me off. The Alandra is like its twin but will not have the shine since its a matte fabric.

    @FutureMrsOrdonez:

    Do you mind if I ask you a few questions?

    Unfortantely I live in a very small town, and the closest store that carries the Alandra is 6.5 hours away. I cannot return the Miri dress because I bought it in another Country:(

    My questions I have for you are:

    • How much did you pay for the dress if you dont mind sharing?
    • Is the Alandra dress heavier then the Miri dress because of the fabric?
    • Does the bodice and hips of the dress fit the exact same as the Miri?
    • Are the flowers on the Alandra dress removable or did you order it without them?

    If you answer these questions and let me know any other helpful information I would really appreciate it! I need to know if I should just try to forget about it and be happy with the Miri or make the drive to try it on.

    THANKS!

    @BCAP:

    I also like these 2 choices and have a dilemma with it. Miri is $1250$ is shinier than Alandra and when you walk in it it looks pretty. This dress is a light dress. Alandra is a very heavy dress because of the material and it has a long train. It is $1600. You can order a detachable flower but you need to let them know that you want it separate otherwise they will sew it on. So I like Alandra and want to buy it but I am unsure of the heavy train because I want to dance at my wedding. That is the only minus of this dress. I might cut the train but it will cost additional money.
