I have the Rhianna Royale and I have lost like 30 lbs in the last year…post buying my dress…and they had to take it in from a size 10 to a size 4….and it turned out really great!  I have seen a lot of the dresses let out and it always turns out beautifully!  I don’t think you have any need to worry!  ๐Ÿ™‚   If a size 4 fit you pretty well I wouldn’t worry about it!

Yeah a lot of dresses are let out with the lace on them..as long as the seamstress does his/her job correctly and they steam the sides where the dress was let out you can’t even tell anymore! ๐Ÿ™‚  Congrats on finding your dress!! ๐Ÿ™‚  You will have to post pics soon!

I’m in the exact same situation. According to my measurements, I’m a size 6/8 in bust, 8 in waist, and 10 in hips. My dress is Maggie Fiorella. My dress consultant advised me to buy the size 8. She said that it might end up fitting fine in the hips, but if it doesn’t then a seamstress could easily alter it. She said that letting out the seam of the lining inside the dress would probably create enough wiggle room to do the trick. I wouldn’t worry about it too much if I were you ๐Ÿ™‚

I’m glad your gowns turned out perfect. BUT! A WORD FOR FUTURE BRIDES!!! You should NEVER EVER order a size down from what you meaure. Nothing is worse than a bride that cannot fit her dress. JUST SAY’N! Gowns can always be taken in, not always let out. Don’t chance it, they cannot be sent back to the designer for a new one!
