Here she is! My dress of course. I feel so much better about the way I look in it, now that I’m not sick. The appointment went well, especially after I convinced the person doing the altering that it NEEDED to be taken in. Not just for the look, but for my ego! I’ve worked hard on this body, lol!
So what do you think ladies, am I on the right alterations track… and should I pay more to change the bustle from a cascade to a french poof?
These aren’t the shoes, they’re just the right hight.

I really like the cascade bustle on the dress, it goes more with thelines in the dress than the french bustle. If it’s only going to cost you more money… just stick with the cascade, I think it’s gorgeous!!!!

I agree – that dress is perfect for a cascading bustle! I adore the draping at the back and the cascading bustle gives it a beautiful flow.

I am more a fan of the french bustle.
I love The Dresser in dowtown fullerton. Great dress ,by the way.

It might be just the picture, since I can’t see the whole back of the dress with the French bustle, but I’m not a big fan of the placement of the cascade bustle right underneath your rear. Could they lower it a little bit?

I like the cascadde bustle, mainly because all the lines point towards your mid back, which is slimming to you. & great job on getting the necessary alterations!!!

You know what Miss Root, I think that is the issue I’m having with it too! Its too close to the buttons! Thank you for pointing that out.

It is really annoying when alterations people make a big deal about changes you want to make to the dress. They can be down right b****y about it, and you’re the one paying them to do it!!! What gives?
