I *almost* bought Penelope, but I didn’t love the way she fit around my hips. I think there maybe was just a little bit too much tulle and I felt like a ballarina (but not in a good way). I tried on Patience and was instantly in love. The tulle is still there but felt much less poofy to me, and just laid on my body so much better. Also, being petite (and it looks like you are too), the lace on Penelope felt too loud to me! I thought it looked overwhelming on my small frame, and I couldn’t figure out what flowers I would carry to match it (sounds silly, but I want to carry wildflowers, and I thought they would look so tiny up against those giant lace flowers).

My suggestion would be to try on Patience with the Nude underneath, which makes her a bit more unique and romantic looking than the full diamond white. Patience might be more “common” looking, but at the end of the day you want to wear what you are most comfortable in! Penelope, for me, just wasn’t 100% perfect. Here is a picture of me in Patience with Diamond White over Nude. (Sorry if the picture is giant! I don’t know how to reduce the size lol).

Hi njc1109! Did you try Maggie on at RK bridal in nyc? Looks like it from your pictures. Just wondering because if so, that was the nude with diamond white underlay. Asking because I want to know how it photographs. Please let me know, thanks!

I was between the same 2 dresses! I ended up buying the patience one yesterday. I just looked at the pics of me trying them on though, and now I feel as though the Patience one doesn’t photograph as well. I think the Patience one looked better in person, but now I’m having second thoughts. Aghhh, maybe taking pictures was not the best idea!
