I know alot of ladies have worn or are going to be wearing the Sabelle. I’m wondering what you paid? A bridal shop today told me $2135! I mean I know I’m in Canada so things are more expensive but that still seems so high to me considering its a gown from like 2 seasons ago!

That price is kind of insane! Unless those are Canadian dollars, in which case I think that’s about right. I got mine for about $1800 USD back in January, including tax and a complimentary two pressings.

well i am located n the caribbean and my sabelle dress is roughly $2000. USD but it is including shipping, customs tax and my bolero too. In fact I will be paying just under $4000. BDS for my dress. the ratio here is two to one. so maybe the price is average?

Where in Canada are you?? That sounds ridiculous to me. I’ve heard the price is going up on Maggie Sottero’s though all around, maybe that is why. But I know the prices vary hugely by store.

I bought mine last year around March 2010 and paid $1025 total for it – it was at a small bridal shop, down in southern California where my friend helped me bargain the price down. She gave me a discount since I paid in cash. I made sure to check that the seller was an authorized dealer ahead of time as well (the Maggie site has a list). I checked several stores in the bay area and they were all quoting me anywhere from $1500 to $1750 (not including tax).

A bridal store here in the Pacific Northwest wanted $1800 for it. And they are a Maggie “premier” retailer. I went with an Allure dress that I fell in love with.

My replica was $450! Was made in China and ordered it from a bridal alterations store…took 30 days to make. I sold it for the price I paid. I could not tell the difference from the real thing.

@Ladyjenn- which company did you use? I, too, have been researching companies in China for a more affordable Sabelle. Also, can you post/send pics of you in the dress so that I can compare. Thanks!
