Sooo, it’s my favorite time of the year again. New collections coming out and I’ve already done some serious mouth-dropping with the new collection of my fav brand(s) Maggie Sottero and Sottero & Midgley.
Have you seen the new Spring 2015 collection already? Here they are:
What do you think? Which ones are your favorites? Share your opinion and maybe some of you have even already tried on dresses from the Spring 2015 collection at a trunk show?
My absolute number 1 fav this year is Melitta Marie by Maggie Sottero, that neckline and intricate detail, and that keyhole back. If I didn’t have a dress already (also a keyhole S&M, this would be the one to try, I love it):
And the regular Melitta (same front) with an illusion back is also stunning, look at those buttons, oompf.
I’m definitely a sucker for lace dresses, as you can tell. I also really like Shayla with its soft neckline, ribbon and lace:
Londyn. I love the scalloped neckline and the wonderful back!
I really like Pilar’s neckline and small scalloped cap sleeves too:
Audrianna’s intricate lacey back is just simply stunning:
Once more, a keyhole on Breanna, although I have to admit that maybe this lace is a bit too much for me:
I would never wear something like this, but man, this is beautiful, what a stunner is Camelia!
I do believe that the new Sottero & Midgley collection is even more high-end than it used to be. It’s more art-deco in my opinion, more glitzy (if that’s even a word), more golden details with lots of beading, and very rich in materials. While this isn’t necessarily my preferred style (I prefer the lace dresses), I did see some I really liked, just not on me. But they’re just craft work, I can really appreciate them.
Like, for instance, Ambria
I love art-deco weddings and style (just not for my own wedding) so these are amazing for that style!
And I’ll close off with my wild card so to speak. I’m never really a big fan of ball gowns, but this one.. I said ‘WOW’ out loud. I love the frail layer of tulle in the deep V neck. I just keep looking at it. I love the Mariam gown!
So… Have you had a peek yet? Which one is your favorite from the entire Spring 2015 collection? I would love to hear your ‘reviews’!
