Thanks for the reply, I needed some confirmation that I was going with the right look.  It’s difficult trying to invision all the seperate pieces together.  I agree with matching the colours, hopefully it won’t be too difficult.  I ordered the diamond white and every bridal line whites are different so I’m thinking the best option is to wait until the dress comes in.

When are you expecting you dress to arrive?  You must be gearing up all your pre-wedding events.

Hi Manda,

I called the store the other day and it should be arriving within the first week or two in May! It feels like it has taken forever to get in. I will be sure to post a few photos once I finally get to try it on again. I still have to get my veil, shoes and all accessories though – I am hoping this will be a bit easier once the dress comes in and I can match everything. When is your dress scheduled to come in?

@manda1231: That bolero would look awesome!!  The ruffle mirrors the ruffle of the dress and would balance it out.  Great choice!

Beautiful dress, ladies!!

Not until September.  I have lots and lots of time, with it being a December wedding, but the holidays seem to consume November and December. The September arrival will give me time to get alterations and get the dress home in my possession for a couple months before the wedding to pull the whole thing together.

I Can’t wait to see photos of another Venecia bride:)

Did you order white or diamond white?

That will give you plenty of time, and you won’t have to be stressed about it not coming in on time. I believe I ordered diamond white (it was the same colour as the sample I tried on, and I thought it was a good colour). How about you?

Hi Carly, I did the same and ordered the same colour as the sample.  And come to think, considering you pointed me in the direction of where to find our dress, I’d be certain that it was the same sample you tried:)  It was diamond white at Bridal and Beyond.  Thanks again BTW!

MrsNeutrino, crazy indeed, we do all have the same gown.  It really speaks to what a gorgeous gown it is.  I love the fact that I have found fellow brides getting ready for their big day wearng Venecia.  It’s great to see all the different ways it is being worn and it’s keeping me from going crazy waiting for mine to arrive:)

I’ve just ordered this dress! Took me ages to find a shop near me that stocked it. I will definately be keeping the train on though, that is part of what I adore about the dress.

I ordered a size 4, hoping it will be nice and tight as my waist and hips measured a 2 but chest was a 4, so hoping it will still fit tightly! Now I just have to wait 5 months for it to come in! I had to order the petite size but I’m only 5′ 3″ so will still need the length adjusting, even with heels. Excited now!

I tried it on this weekend and fell in love, even though this dress wasnt even on my radar. Here’s some pics, the lady at the bridal store put on a rhinestone sash that made the whole thing look even more beautiful!

@peacockchris : Wow! love the sash. I hoping to find on for my dress but haven’t narrowed it down. Do you know who makes that sash?

Did you get the dress?

@lalaleah: I have not ordered the dress yet, but this is definitely the one. I have seen several etsy stores that make sashes, and also at most bridal salons. However they are a little expensive ($120 and up for the ones I’ve seen), So I am going to try and make it myself :-S, we’ll see how it goes!

Hi girls!  I just got married in May and am selling my Venecia dress on http://www.preownedweddingdresses.com.  It is a label size 4, street size 0/2.  Please search for it on the website!  I have also posted pictures there, too.
