IF you look in the gallery, there is a bee who bought the Mori Lee. She looked gorgeous. Mori ranges anywhere from $500-1200. Very affordable. I’m not sure about Maggie but I did not like the fabrics of Maggies that I tried on so I ended up with a ML too πŸ™‚

@SeaBaby:  I tried the maggie Mia on as well… I decided against it due to the bodice but I debated on it a while.

It would help to see it on you….. Any pics of you wearing either?

Here is the Maggie Mia that I tried on

@SeaBaby:  It takes about 6 months for most dresses to come in….I think you are ok to take the next few months to look but you will prob want to order by April.

The shop told me it would take 6 months for my Mori lee to come in but it came in early after about 4 months I think it was. A lot of Mori’s do come in early but give yourself at least 6 months for the dress to come in.

Call the shop you are going to and ask them what timeframe on each designer that way you will have a better idea!

@SeaBaby:  I’m 5’5″ size 6 street clothes. That Maggie dress was a sample size 8 I had on….you will learn in wedding dress world that you have to go up usually 2 sizes in dresses!

I think I had on heels with the dress when I had it on thou to get a better idea of what it would look like

This is me on my wedding day with my dad walking me down in my Mori Lee. 5’5″ in 4 inch heels

@SeaBaby:  (Mrs!)weddingbound and I chose a kinda blingy Mori Lee (the 1802).  You can check out either of our galleries for pics. πŸ˜‰  I showed a picture of my gown to my florist and she thought it was a Pnina Tornai lol..

Mori Lee makes some blingy styles too if that’s what you’re going for.  I’m not going to choose one over the either because I happen to think both designers rock (I’m wearing a Mori Lee, my sister got married in Maggie’s “Bernadette”).. I say when it boils down to 2 different dresses that you really can’t choose from, pick the one that’s easier on the wallet!

ETA:  Swoon!  Yep, that’s our dress πŸ™‚

@SeaBaby:  I tried on the maggie…I really liked it although the sample size was huge πŸ™  I think it is better suited for someone with bigger boobs than mine 32B.  I ended up going with a different dress.  The maggie was still gorgous tho, but very hot.  One thing I did not like about it was how it bunched up on the one side, not very comfy at all and felt quite awkward but maybe thats just because the sample was huge πŸ™

The 2nd dress is really pretty and it’s nice to see how great it looks on “real” brides!
