Ooooh I love this dress but not getting married until 2014 so it’s too far ahead to buy – HOWEVER, if any of you ladies fancy selling your Isadora Marie after your big day, I’d love to hear from you. ๐Ÿ™‚

I did…

I didn’t end up getting it though. I went with the Casablanca #2008, which is completely different. LOL!

@mum: It was white. The white balance on my camera just wasn’t set right.

I tried this dress on today and I really liked it! It’s not too heavy to walk around in and I love the waist details. I wish the train was just a bit longer. =) Not sure if I will get this or not, but it’s totally in the top 2 choices!

@apn and other Isadora Marie brides, can you tell me how tall you are?

I absolitely love Isadora Marie, but not one bridal shop in my area has the sample for me to try on!  I have tried on so many dresses and looked at so many more, and nothing compares.  My mom and I were just discussing that perhaps I should just order it without having tried it on.  I tried on Isadora Ann (the shorter one) and loved the top half, but couldn’t get a good idea of the bottom half.

So my only concern is that I am 5’2″ and wearing about 2″ heels.  I wonder if the detail on the skirt will look too busy on me?

Keep posting the pictures! You all look so gorgeous!

I apologize– I ended up not even trying it on, because I fell so madly in love with another dress (Pronovias Pergola) that I ended up buying. ๐Ÿ™‚

I can’t wait to see my Isadora Marie in person!  Bees, can you tell me more about the corset of the dress?  I can’t remember from when I tried it on.  I remember that there are three corsets… a tie-up, a zipper, and a button.  I think the button is last, but is the tie-up or the zipper first?  Any ideas?

Also, did you wear a bra or anything under this?  Did you have cups sewn in?

Thanks for the help, ladies!

@vlbee:  Hi, I remember from when I was trying her on, it was the tie up then the zip then the buttons. ๐Ÿ™‚
I honestly dont think you will need a bra under it, I didnt when I tried it on because of the 3 closures and also because its really well boned.

You look beautiful! Will have my first fitting today. I’m quite nervous;-) I have to decide whether to add cap sleeves oder wear a shawl or something like that for the cermenoy.

To all Isadora Marie brides: Do you bustle the train? I’m not sure quite yet because the train isn’t that long and I’m afraid a bustle would ruin the look of the beautiful hemline…

@Bernie1407:  Hi there! – I am getting them to add a bustle to mine, only because they said if someone steps on the train it could definately tear!  So I added just a small bustle to the back and pulled it to hook from above and NOT below.  They showed me a underneath bustle looked like and it was aweful!!  The tool just bubbled and it was not flattering at all!  So we just pulled the first layer or two up to hook on the outside of the dress!  Loved it!
