We are wanting to have a fall wedding with Black, red, yellow and orange as the colors. Also would like to incorporate a little halloween without making it like a halloween party. We are both very nerdy so we would also like to incorporate a little Magic the Gathering in the wedding. Haven’t found and good ideas but a cake and it’s not very pretty lol. Any ideas would be greatly appreciated.

SoontobeMrsStanley: Be aware that I am not a gamer at all, so hopefully these suggestions (found online) make sense. As a non-gamer, googling brings up suggestions that don’t mean anything to me, so please feel free to reject these out of hand.
With a theme like this, I think restraint is your friend e.g use fall colored flowers in a vase that is MTG based.
Are your friends also into MTG?
You could do etched glasses as your favor. This can be a DIY.
you could incorporate MTG into your cardbox
the groom could gift the groomsmen MTG tee shirts to be worn under their dress shirts. males a cute pic when they do a reveal
you could have cookies or cupcakes
use set symbols or guild symbols to name your tables. If your guests are not familiar, especially if you have a large number of tables, it helps to double up and give each table a name and a number so they are easier to find. Or,you could also display a map of your tables so guests can easily find their table.

I will be of no help to you at all but my 19 yo DS adores MTG and would love to meet a girl like you someday. I adore the dragon cake!

hermom: I never used to play magic or like anything nerdy. When I met him he told me the stuff he liked and I had only ever heard of MTG but never knew anything of it. After i seen what it was and learned to play I got hooked on it. It’s a great way for us to spend time together and with our friends.

I seen these and thought you might be able to make them to incorporate in your wedding. Also I found a guy on etsy who makes custom magic cards. He told me he could make magic card wedding invitations!

I saw a boutineer online(I think Pinterest) that had a 10 sided die on it, I know they use a lot of dice in that game(my SO plays with a lot of his friends)
Maybe do a Groom’s cake with a certain demon or whoever on it?
Incorporate the cards’ art into the centerpeices?
