I’ll be making a “maid of honor box” to give my friend when I ask her if she wants to be my MO for our wedding (which she probably already expects it but I just want to do the box thing anyways). My wedding colors will be a deep red, medium/light gray and a caramel mocha shade.
Her dress will be gray like the one below but shorter.
In the box I want to include a nail polish, even if she goes to get her nails done professionaly I just want to add a small one with the color.
I also want to include a tiny eyeshadow pallete with matching colors.
So what color combination should I do for the nail polish & eyeshadow pallete. For the eyeshadow I will get one that has the smokey look so a black and dark gray, but should the third color it has be gray/silver or a gold/caramel color?
Anything else I can include in the box that wouldn’t be too expensive?

Why not a deep red nailpolish, either one as the third eye shadow, and then maybe a pair of nice silver earrings with a sparkly stone?, or something else that would go with the dress? 🙂

Plum nail polish looks SO good with grey IMO. And silver for the eyeshadow and I agree with PP on earrings or a necklace to wear!

Deep red. I’m an idiot for somehow missing the part of your other wedding colors. LOL happy shopping bee!

Would silver earrings be ok or is that too much silver/gray? I like the idea of a necklace better, but since I don’t know what style of dress she’s going to wear yet (like the top part) I don’t think I should get a necklace because the one I choose might not go with the neckline :\

Silver earrings all the way! Those would look great with the dress and can be worn with anything.

Honestly, I don’t think your “proposal” box should be anything she’s expected to actually use for the wedding, unless your wedding is in like a month. She’s likely to lose/break/use those items before the big day hits. I’d get her nail polish and a necklace that fit her tastes, and save the wedding stuff for closer to the day.
