My sister is my maid of honor she has gone above and beyond her duties to help me with the wedding planning process. Like all of the bridesmaids I am giving her a clutch / earrings / bracelet / embroidered hanky / hair & make-up but I want to do something special for her.
I was thinking Massage or dinner for her and her hubby and her favorite restaurant but I read somewhere that it should be a keepsake they can remember. :-/
Are you doing any special for your Maid/Matron of Honor that you’ll give as an special thank you separate from the other Bridesmaid or Best Man gifts? Id LOVE to hear your ideas. Thanks.

I actually disagree with the whole keepsake idea. I, as well as most people I know, hate keepsakes. I would much rather be gifted with somehting I could use (like the massage or dinner gift certificate) rather than something with my name carved into it.
My Maid/Matron of Honor made a comment about how she really wants to get her makeup profesionally done for my wedding since she’s never had it done before so I’m planning on paying for that as well as her hair ontop of the other gifts I give her and my other bridesmaids (cute clutch, $50 gift card to their fav. stores, funky leaf bracelet and a few clutch fillers).

@UpstateCait: That’s great advice. She is a practical person so you may be right.
