I am so annoyed right now. I sent my maid of honor my wedding hair inspiration picture and all she said was CUTE. WTF? I am so annoyed right now! Then she asked me if SHE can wear a tiara at MY wedding!!! I WANT TO SCREAM!

@BlushLove: Uhhh what’s wrong with “cute”? As for the tiara, just say no..

@jrzvol: You should say beautiful, gorgeous, not cute. Who wants to be called cute on their wedding? Do you want to be called cute?

Seriously, it’s hair. And your wedding is 8 months away. She will care more when it gets closer. But you can’t actually expect people, even your Maid/Matron of Honor, to be super excited about your wedding hair inspiration.

The tiara thing is a NO, but the “cute” thing wouldn’t bother me.

@PinkPinstripes: Shes the one that asked me to send it to her! Then she sent me 5 options for her own hair and asked if she can wear a tiara. She’s the one that started the whole wedding hair conversation.

@BlushLove: Oh! Well if she asked to see it I would expect she would have more than a one word answer.
Maybe she was kidding about the tiara? If not, she’s gotta get a clue lol

I kinda agree with PP’s about Cute. My bridesmaids have referred to potential hairstyles for me as cute. Cute is usually how folks describe hair.
A tiara is completely unacceptable.

@BlushLove: Take a deep breath. She probably put very little thought into picking the exact adjective to use to describe your hair it’s just a knee jerk reaction.
And just tell her that you don’t think the tiara would work. Done and doner.

@BlushLove: So maybe she was kidding about the tiara like others said. Remember though….NO ONE, not even your Maid/Matron of Honor is gonna be as excited as you are about the wedding. Esp when it’s 8 months away. At least she replied in a positive manner(and cute is a positive).

I am just annoyed because she has an opinion for everything. If it is not her style then she says its ok, oh its cute. She thinks MY wedding should be like how SHE wants hers. My ring is just over one carat and she goes “oh when I get engaged mine better be atleast 3 carats, yours is cute.” I got an a-line dress. She says “Oh when I get married mine will be a ball gown, yours is cute.” I booked my venue, “oh when i get married, mine will be at the winery, but that place is cute.”

Wow. You are completely overreacting – it’s hair! Don’t ask for someone’s opinion if you don’t want to hear what they have to say.
The tiara thing is just weird – not sure why any grown woman would want to wear one regardless of the occasion. Just tell her no and move on – she asked you.

Dear lord, cute is a compliment!!! My inspiration hair could be called cute. I’m 5’1″, I’m cute, it happens!
