My sister is my Maid/Matron of Honor and I was thinking she would wear a long dress and the other girls would be in tea length.
Does this look okay in pictures to have one girl in a long dress and the rest in tea length? I wanted her to stand out but I have been hearing mixed reviews…
Please help… 🙂

Here’s one that’s the other way around:
also Maid/Matron of Honor in short dress
although I couldn’t find a pic of what you are proposing, I think it will be fine.

I was wondering the same thing. My Bridesmaid or Best Man are all young (24 or younger) and want to wear knee length and my Maid/Matron of Honor is my older sister (early 30’s) who has demanded she be in a long dress to hide her “cankles”. Her words not mine… Anyway, did anyone else do this?

I think it would look fine! Cute even!

I think that’s a nice way to let your Maid/Matron of Honor stand out a bit.

Although I don’t have pictures, I have seen pictures from 10-15 years ago (whenever it was my Aunt remarried) from her wedding. She had 2 in tea length, 1 long and 1 between tea and long. It looked really nice, especially because they had them in order by dress length and height. The woman in the long dress was her MOH/sister , the one in the medium one was her SIL, the other two were friends.

I have 5 Bridesmaid or Best Man and they’re all in different lengths and styles! I wanted them to be comfortable in something that suited their personality and that they’d most likely rewear!

I think it looks good! I was part of a wedding where us BMs wore tealength while the Maid/Matron of Honor wore floor length.
Hard to tell in the pic but here you go. hopefully this helps!
