How should registry cards be worded for the bridal shower?
Fiance and I are registered at 3 stores, and my Maid/Matron of Honor wants to make cards to put in the Bridal Shower invites to tell people where we are registered.
Is it appropriate to say “Mike and Brenda are registered at…” Or should it only mention the woman because it’s for the shower?

Many places will give/send you the already printed registry cards when you register. I had it printed directly on the bottom of the invitations ‘B & N are registered at …’, as my daughter gave me the printed cards after the fact (plus her shower was a surprise so she knew nothing about the invitations anyway). I think you can do whatever you want.

Ours has both our names!!

I’m pretty sure the invites for my shower had just my name on the invite but the registry info had both our names.

Mine only had my name on the registry info. If some of your fiance’s family members (particularly older family members) are invited I would suggest putting “Mike and Brenda” just to be safe. My Maid/Matron of Honor got a call from one of my husband’s great aunts.. and she thought she received the invite in error because she didn’t know who I was!! Now… why so many people from his side who don’t know me were invited is a whole other story…

Ours also had both our names, but the party was honoring me. Some ladies that came knew my Darling Husband and not me that well so that way they knew it was for both of us or figured out who I was 🙂

i think it’s a great idea to put where you are registered on the invite. if you don’t you’ll get a lot of stuff you don’t want!! 🙂

Only my name was put on there to list registry information, but I’m glad that I put it on there. Very few people bought random items that way!
