Hooray! Took them to the post office, hand-cancelled them (not sure why, but it seems like it’s the thing to do), and sent them off! It really feel real, and I know it’ll only be more so once we start getting responses. These have been a labor of love (hand-punching tree cut-outs, moo cards, tying bows, attaching sticky lace accents….) so it’s exciting to send them off!
On another note I am second-guessing myself and worrying that I sent them too early. We are asking for responses by January 25th. We sent them this week because we were trying to avoid the Christmas card rush so things would not get lost.

Very exciting! You seem right on schedule.

Definitely not too early (especially with the holiday rush). I mailed ours Thanksgiving weekend and had the RSVP date January 11th. That gave time for stragglers to come in before I have to notify the reception hall.

@coolbride125: We did the same thing. But our RSVP date is January 18th. Even with mailing them a month ago because already lost the RSVP card.. Really? sigh.
