Hi Bees – wanting to see what everyone’s experiences were with mailing invitations with addressing done in calligraphy?
I’d read a horror story here a few months ago about how all invites were returned to sender, and something about hand cancelling (a term I’d never heard prior to that). I’m mostly concerned as I will have alot of envelopes going abroad. We’re considering sticking the invitations in bubble mailers and typing up labels or something :/.
Any experiences/advice welcome!

We had ours calligraphered, didn’t have any issue with invites going abroad (we sent them to Singapore, Germany, Norway and Canada)

I think it depends. The ones that are overly artsy hand lettering that are practically illegible will get returned. There shouldnt be a problem with classic calligraphy.

mrscsoontobee : This is my concern. I think they are legible, but they are metallic gold on a pale gray/blue and I think that THAT can be harder to read. I’m scared to take a chance O.O
