@MrsDiddles:  can’t you just get the size 10 dress (if it’s cheaper) and put some lace across the booby part to make it less … booby? Or will a 10 not accomodate your boobs at all?

It’s so hard to plan when things keep changing. I don’t know that anyone else is going to be able to answer this for you. To me, $2000 is a lot to spend on something I’m not sure is going to be perfect, but to some people that wouldn’t be an issue. Have you tried going to stores and giving them some style preferences and seeing what they have in your price range? I mean looking online is great, but things are sometimes different in real life. Have you tried on dresses similar to the one you’re considering? Would that give you an idea of how the bust might work vs. not work? Could you find a seamstress to keep on standby for alerations? You coudl always add straps if the girls are getting out of hand. Hm……. I don’t know what else to suggest but I hope it works out!!

@MrsDiddles:  Do you think you’d regret it if you didn’t get ‘this’ dress? On one hand you may find something even better, on the other will you always be wondering. I found two dresses i LOVED but one was too small be be altered nicely and the other was more than I wanted to spend. They were both similar. In the end I choose one in a rushed panic off the shelf that was at least in my size. It is totally different to the other but I know my fiancee will think I’m gorgeous in any dress and it was more important to me to keep in budget.

With less than 90 days left for me there is NO spare money, even buying our fridge for new flat is too much!Have a think about what would hurt most, losing it or compromising.

And I agree with londonchick about the modesty panel at the front.

Good Luck

you need to try some dresses on coz you will be surprised as to what appeals to you in a picture versus what you like when you try them on.

The one dress i was quite keen on in a picture turned out to be pretty ugly when i tried it on so beware

that girl looks nice in that dress from the top half but in my opinion, it swamps her because she doesn’t look very tall and she has a good figure which has been pretty much cut in half. I think you have to be quite tall to carry off this dress

To me, the way a dress fits and feels on you is everything. I would never buy a wedding dress without trying it on.

no the boobs are fine it’s a nice dress but it looks like it has the potential of cutting ones figure in half. That’s how it looks to me but that’s just my opinion

Have you checked all the preowned websites? Maybe you can get lucky and find one already altered!

Have you actually gone and tried on dresses at least in a similar style? Personally I wouldn’t buy a dress without trying it on…there are a lot of dresses I thought looked AMAZING and then I tried them on and was like..ugh. lol. And vice versa of course.

I wounln’t advise putting that much toward something that may not fit especially at such a late date. Can you afford to loose that much, selling these dresses is not easy. If the dress does not fit will you have the money for another one? If yes then go for it, the dress is pretty but if you have not tried any on then I would do that first.
