You look beautiful! My first thought was “omg I love the lace!” followed by “it would look so amazing with a belt of some sort!” haha.

Seems like a lot of other PP’s have thought the same thing (great minds, etc.) I think it would look gorgeous with a simple white satin sash (ribbon type sash). But, if you wanted something with more detail maybe a rhinestone or beaded belt?Just something to nip the dress in to show off your waist and figure better 🙂

You could look through Etsy for inspiration, I got mine off there and I am in love with it!

Sorry, I just noticed your wedding is 2 weeks away. You might not be able to order something online and receive it that quick unless you asked them to rush it.

Maybe check your bridal salon (although those can be seriously overprices). I’d check out Micheals or a craft store close by. A 1.5″ white satin ribbon would be very simple to make into a sash!

You need to get new shoes, they just clash with the dress. get something simple and elegant, no need for the tassles or whatever that is on them.

@lorie:  It looks adorable.  Did you come on here fishing for compliments???  Really, don’t sweat it, it looks great on you.

It’s easy to stress about the small stuff when the wedding date is closing in on you.  Seriously, put a check mark by bridal dress on your list b/c you’ve found one that looks great on you.  Now, look for shoes that make you feel sexy and you’ll begin to see what we see.  Also, I know when I go shopping for clothes and I don’t have my makeup and hair done, I hate everything I put on versus me feeling I look amazing in everything when I am all made up.

Do a search on here for before and after photos of bees when they first bought/ tried on their dress (usually without makeup and hair done) and the “after” is the wedding date photo…you’ll be blown away how fabulous it all comes together.

I’m going to get on you for one thing, why in the world would you compare yourself to someone in a magazine?  That same model can’t even compare herself to how she looks in the magazine.

Hope you post some pics of your finished look:)

It’s looks great on you!  Honestly!  I would change the shoes too, unless you’re in sand 100% of the time!

Better pair of shoes and a simple ribbon or thin rhinestone sash= totally different look!

With a couple little changes, I think you would love it again!

I think you look great. Some fancy heels would complete the look.

It fits you and you look beautiful in it! Add a beaded sash, change your shoes to white wedge with pearls or crystals on it, and your wedding look will be just perfect! (plus a little bit accessories on your hair)
