I think you are out of your mind to question this dress, you look amazing! I know it’s clipped a bit and all that, but you look wonderful. I understand dress regret, the pressure to make the perfect decision, but I think you found the perfect dress. Is there anything in particular you don’t like?  Is there another dress you were thinking of? If there’s another you think you like better, maybe it would help you feel better to share a pic and details about it. I think you found the right dress and should stick to it.

cjm18 :  Don’t worry bee, you look amazing! Phone pictures in a bridal salon are almost ALWAYS bad – either the person doesn’t know how to take good pictures, or the lighting is terrible, or both! When we went shopping for my sister’s dress, we loved this stunning dress, it was sparkly and gorgeous, and the pictures didn’t reflect that at all because the lighting of the salon was terrible, and the picture angles were bad. That being said, even with the low quality pictures, the dress still looks great on you, and it still looks like a beautiful dress! So try not to be too worried about it.

this is also one of my must-try dress styles. And you look SUPER pretty!! i love love love it.

the 2nd picture it looks like it comes down too low like the ruffles start too low and should be brought up a couple inches. However, it doesnt look so in the 1st pic tho so itʻs hard to tell. My only citique and honeslty minor AF.

I am a former costumer and done some stylist work.  For what it is worth you got it right.  The dress and shade of white is perfect.  Mind you, you would look gorgeous in anything because not to sound rude  but you are slim, gorgeous, have wonderful hair and skin.  Once the dress is fitted you will look amazing.  Now I won’t deny that you might not look like the model in the photo – in part because they often fit the clothes that would be impossible for you to walk or wear in everyday life.  This goes for guys in the tuxedo photos you often see – because even if I did have abs I am going to wear cardboard in my shirt and have the jacket pinned so it fits me like shrink wrap. LOL.   You are very lucky that you are statuesque and slim – while you would look good in almost anything this dress is great – don’t sweat it.  And I will sound like a broken record – for goodness sake this is like 10 hours at most celebrating a marriage of a life time.  The dress, the food, the perfectly matched chair sash is not going to make the marriage.    The dress when fitted will be sexy yet, refreshing, sophisticated, classy, somewhat etheral and yet modern and contemporary with a romantic vibe toward the classics and it really  does look amazing – it doesn’t look cheap.  And it should make you feel like  the star you are!  Now to show tham I am not just feeding you a line I have to admit I was taking a bride shopping for her dress (I am a wedding director/coordinator – volunteer actually – I do it for free to help people out – it’s fun to help) and I saw this other bride.  And she was full figured lady  And to be honest her entourage of five ought to have been shot, tarred and feathered.  The dress she picked was not flattering at all.  She looked like the butter ball express that ran into a tulle monstrosity.  Her cups overfloweth and she looked like an overstuffed sausage coming out of its casing and ooizng all over.  I am pretty sure the fashion police would have arrested her and I was thinking criminal charges might have been appropriate for creating mischief or for “stunting” causing other vehicles to want to crash.  really you will look like a glamourous bride – you HAVE nothing to worry about.

It’s gorgeous. The fit and the photos are what’s messing with you — don’t worry! It’ll be amazing.

I also second-doubted myself… but once my dress finally arrived in my size, it looked soo much better! You will love it even more when you get it altered to fit you perfectly.

Delete the photos. Wait for the first fitting. Don’t obsess over it. It’s beautiful on you and a pictures with no-so-great lighting and a dress that is far to large for you that’s just pinned up.. doesn’t do it justice. I’d also recommend not looking at pictures of any other dresses either.

There will be a night and day difference once you get it altered. It’s a beautiful dress & when it fits you like a glove I think all your apprehensions will disappear.
