I was going to ask if you went to CSB. I remembered looking at it when it was posted this weekend. GORGOUS !!! But, again, it is not my gown and I am not wearing it. I agree with PP. Sweetheart, pull in the waist and add some bling. Give it a shot. If your heart still does not agree, then find one that LOVE. It’s an amazing feeling that everyone deserves to know.

I agree with PP’s and think it is perfect for your venue. It needs alterations, for sure, but once they are done, I bet it will look perfec on you! It is a gorgeous dress! If you are doing the whole burlap and lace look for your wedding, the dress is absolutely perfect!

@poppypuppy: What kind of dress did you envision to be in on your wedding day? Do you have a dream dress? I can see how the pressure may have gotten to you with your mom’s excitment and all the things you listed. It’s a nice dress on you. Love the lace. Maybe you could add a blingy belt to add sparkle and the sweetheart neckline will look lovely I’m sure. But if you are not loving it, go and find your dream dress! Or else dress regret will just keep haunting you!

Of course you must go with you heart, but I, like others, think your dress is truly lovely. So many of what we see here are the exact same styles over and over, and yours is unique and so delicately gorgeous!

thank you everyone for you replies! I think you’re right…it looked much better with a sash/belt in the store and I do want to get it taken in a bit more in the hip.
I don’t think I had a “dream” dress per se, but I did want a something not as poofy and maybe something more trumpet shape?
I keep going back and forth with whether or not I want to keep the dress, but I’m going to wait until the fall to take it in to the alterations lady to see what she can do with it…I’ll post many pix of it then!
Thanks so much, bees!
