Hopefully you still have your invite list somewhere and just send out some and just explain what happened and resend thankyou notes!

Just send everyone a thank you! I lost my list too  (for physical presents) in moving things around in my house. I went over the general guest list and thanked everyone. Between Darling Husband and I, we were able to remember everything. We decided to thank people who came to the wedding, but did not gift as well. Also, we are sending out wedding announcements to guests who were invited, but could not come. So, that should cover everyone, I think.

Well, they’re probably around somewhere. (Unless someone threw them away.) First thing I’d do is make a comprehensive search. If you can’t find them, see if there’s any way your bank can get records of those deposits for you so you at least know who you deposited checks from.

Do you still have your address list from sending invites?

@nyscpa2be:  Yeah, just word it a little vaguely. If you can get the names from the bank for people not on the invite list, maybe you can get their addresses from your in laws?

PP is right- you should be able to see a record of the checks you deposited. Most banks post a photo of the check if you look online. Then you’ll know who gave how much, and you can assume if you didn’t deposit a check they didn’t give you one.
