I wrote in several months ago about huge dress indecision. I finally bought my dress, a Maggie Sottero Doreen, but I started to have doubts again. In fact, after I thought I was happy with my purchase, I kept looking at other dresses, so much so that I started having major dress regret. Now, I’m not even sure I like the dress I bought.
I keep going back to another dress that I can’t seem to shake. It’s the Verona by Rivini. What should I do? Which looks better?
Option1: Verona by Rivini
Option 2: Doreen by Maggie Sottero

I really like the Maggie on you, but they are so different that if you really really like the Rivini, then you should get the Rivini. There’s something to be said about an item when you keep thinking about it. You look great in both and I suspect that you could look great in a paper bag as well 🙂

I don’t really like the first one that much… imo, there’s nothing really special about it. The “wow” factor just isn’t there. The second is gorgeous!

The Doreen is stunning on you.

I like the Verona, but I think you look amazing in the Doreen. Stick with that one.

I really love the Doreen on you as well, but that being said, the Rivini looks like it’s way too big on you – I think it could be truly gorgeous once it’s fitted properly! You can’t go wrong girl, they’re both lovely on you. Go with your heart!

I really love the Rivini.. I think the front looks very sophisticated and elegant and I just love the back!

I LOVE the dress you already have! You need to stop looking though. I did the same exact thing…had dress regret for months…but when I put my dress on again, and took out 1 layer of tulle (something as simple as that) I loved it again, and even more than I did the first time I tried it on. I think how you felt when you picked it out is how you truly feel..everything else is just your brain thinking WAY too much! 🙂

I didn’t read what you wrote and just looked at the photos. I LOVE dress #2 on you. I think dress #1 could be gorgeous if it were fitted properly, but after reading that #2 is the dress you already have … I think I’d stick with that one.

I normally would not recommend that someone buy another gown when she already has purchased one, and I agree with the others bees that you look great in both dresses. However, I think the Rivini dress is more stunning in its simplicity and elegance and also because of the contrast between the ornamentation and the fabric. I have no idea if I am correct from just looking at the pics, but the Rivini appears to be a much more expensive gown (silk?) and in a diamond white shade (which I think is the most flatting shade on many skin tones) vs. a more stark white on the Maggie gown. IF you LOVE the Rivini, and you can easily absorb the cost into your wedding budget, I would consider doing it. If, on the other hand, this new gown is going to put a huge strain on your wedding budget, I would keep the one you already purchased. The great news (someone once said this to me while dress shopping) is that there will only be one bride at your wedding, so no one there will be comparing your gown to any other gown that day. You will look beautiful regardless of your decision. Hope some of this helped!

@Brielle – Actually, I purchased the Rivini just yesterday. It’s not in my hands yet, but now I’ve got two dresses to pick from. Thank you for the great tip!

I actually LOVE the Doreen on you! You look fantastic in it. Seriously, it looks like it was made for you. And OMG that train! I’d vote for that one even if you didn’t already have it!
