Omg, spiders.  They are out – I’ve killed several in the past few days.  Even the word spider makes my stomach feel sick.  You’re not alone in the spider-hatred.

Okay this was really embarassing, but a few weeks ago we went with some friends to the butterfly exhibit at the houston science museum and I FLIPPED OUT!! There were just butterflies flying everywhere!  And they would just RUN INTO ME!  Even little kids were laughing at how scared i was.  I felt bad, I think I ruined the experience for Darling Husband because he had to go sit by the door with me lol

AWww!!! Well you can call me over any time to kill one of them critters. I have absolutely NO fear of spiders. I think my hubby secretly is scared of them but is too ‘manly’ to admit that. Though you can see the FEAR OF GOD on his face when he sees a spider. Lol! I am the spider killer of the relationship. I can be at your service. Smile

As for me, well I am just terrified of being terrified. I haven’t come across anything yet that I am scared of or simply want to avoid at ALL costs. I WAS scared of water (the beach) but I overcame that too long ago.

Fish freak me out like none other, especially when they’re still alive (not fond of them as food, either). My heart rate actually picks up around aquariums and I have mentally distance myself. It’s kind of ridiculous.

Spiders. Yuuuuuck. I can’t even look at large bugs (like huge wasps and bigger) without freaking out but spiders… Oh hell no. I can’t even kill them with my hands, like a napkin or even a shoe, because it’s just too close to my hands. My foot, with a shoe on, sometimes. It’s still so gross though. Blech.

@MrsNerdy:  I’m sorry, but I laughed at yours!  Though I can totally see how that would be freaky.

I am so afraid of the dark that I have a special sequence of how to turn off the lights to go upstairs at night and my heart still thumps because the darkness is behind me.  I slept with all the lights on for about ten years, then when I started sleeping over with Fiance we left on a night light, and now that we live together, we just leave the hall light on and the door open a crack.  I have gotten a LOT better, but I am still terrified.  Even those few steps from the light switch to the bed are effing terrifying for me (to the point that Fiance once put our bedroom light on a remote control so I could turn the lights off from our bed, haha.)

I’m afraid of (in order of most scardiness)

-dying/car accidents/terminal illness

-crying (imagine that at a wedding)

-the dark

-ants

-bugs in general

Frogs.

I hate those little green bastards. Oh my God, I am terrified of them. If one hops near me, I go into a full blown hyperventilating panic attack. I have to wear rubber boots outside in the summer if I’m remotely near a location where frogs could be.

ummm I just turned 29 and have to get my tdap shot this week and have been hyperfixated on it for a while now 🙁

i KNOW they don’t hurt but I STILL want to cry.  also with spring (and this goes hand in hand) I am TERRIFIED of bees…. since they are essentially flying needles that can attack for no reason!

@misskarianne: For some reason, this freaks me out too. I’m not sure what it is but it just kinda gives me the heebie jeebies. I use to be a lifeguard and something about the giant pumps and machines in the pump house use to give me the same kind of feeling.

@MadameTussaud:  SO just doesn’t understand! “Just take a napkin to it” NO! I am using your shoe, on the end of the broom stick because I can’t deal with the crunchy death! And then he laughs at me. Siiigh
