I fell in love with an invitation and was psyched to find they had a matching save the date. Ordered those and loved them! Heard from all my friends how fantastic they were.
Started to design the invitations to order them last week and just couldn’t fit everything on it that I needed to. I was struggling! Even with all the design changes they could do, it just wouldn’t work.
In one of my mother’s recent email rants was how much she hated our save the dates and that they were hard to read. 🙁
I restarted my hunt for invites and tonight ordered some cute ones that aren’t too stuffy, that my groom liked, too. (and hopefully my mom won’t bitch about as much). I also saved about $200 compared to the others, which is awesome. And I think the paper is just slightly lighter so I may be able to use just a .64 cent stamp vs. .81.
My first invitation love was from Minted. I ended up ordering from Wedding Paper Divas and am hoping they turn out great.
Lesson learned – be certain to try and personalize/preview your invites with EVERYTHING on them you need at the very beginning of your quest.
