Ehhh…I am torn. On one side, it does look fairly similar to the inspiration phone, except with a rosier lip. That said, it doesn’t look bad but it doesn’t look as artistic as the inspiration. I can’t see your eyes that well in your engagement photo. Are there any other reasonable options in the area to try out?

The thing I worry about is you regretting staying with the same person if you are not happy the day of with the outcome. I was a bridesmaid in a wedding in September and the bride was not completely happy with her makeup. While we all thought it looked great, she was very very upset and it almost let to a full-on meltdown until another makeup artist adjusted what she thought she needed fixing. There is a bride on here today who posted how she can’t stop obsessing about how she hated her the day of. That would be my biggest worry.

Honestly, the upside for you is that you are so naturally pretty that you are going to look stunning no matter what. I don’t think there is anything wrong with a smokey eye, especially if your dress matches that style. Like I said, I don’t think it doensn’t look good it’s just that something is off (which after looking more closely seems to be your bottom eyeliner doesn’t look from that photo like it goes to the inside of your eye which is throwing me off). The big difference I see between your inspiration vs you is the length of lashes. Do you have fake ones on in the trial photo? If so, could you wear longer ones?

I don’t like the bright silver on the inner parts of your eye. Your foundation looks way dark on your skin (looks orangey almost). Not a huge fan of the lip color.

I do think you’re on the right track though.

@Igem:  I like the plum eyeshadow in the last photo the best. I think green or a plum shadow would work the best with your skin tone and bring out your eyes.

The liner on your eyes need to be sharpened up a lot. Your shadow is currently washing out your liner. Less is more, get rid of the silver under your eyes and on the inner corners, this should help quite abit. Also colour your waterline with the black liner, this will help sharpen your eyes as well. The rest of the shadow work isn’t too bad, the inspiration photo used brown on the inner points of her eyelid which I think you missed.

@Igem:  I like the make up although it is a bit heavy on the eyes

Honestly, I think you look “wow”!!! That last pic of you smiling with hair and make-up is just stunning. And together with the wedding dress? Breath-taking! Try not to second guess it, this is perfect for you 🙂

I like the general look & feel that you were going for, however I do think the artist proper caked it on; there’s just too much product there when the same look could’ve been achieved with a lot less. I mean, yes, you’ll need more product when doing pro pics, but this just looks like it might flake away any minute. You’re such a naturally beautiful girl and I think the makeup is taking away from that.
