I would do my makeup after hair but before dress

I’ve always heard hair before makeup, because that way your hair is out of your face while you’re doing your makeup, and if your stylist gets water/hairspray/product on your face accidentally it won’t ruin any makeup 🙂

I had a professional hair and makeup artist who started my hair (set it in hot rollers)first, then did my make up, and then finished my hair (created the up-do and placed the tiara and veils.)

I did makeup first because my makeup artist could only work with me in the morning.  I had to retouch my foundation but I would have had to anyway because I have oily skin.

I did makeup after hair. Worked fine for me!

My professional hair/makeup artist did my makeup first which I thought was weird, but it all turned out very nicely so no complaints here.  She put clips in my hair to keep it out of my face. My dress went on last of course.

I’ve always felt most comfortable with 1. Hair, 2. Makeup, 3. Dressing.

I did hair, make-up, hair again, andthen dress. LOL First my stylist straightened my hair, then my MUA did my make-up while my stylist workedon my Maid/Matron of Honor, then I went back to the hair chair to do my up-do. My MUA and stylist work together a lot, so I just trusted them to have me ready on time, and they did.
